We had a lovely family of deer visit the garden today, managed to take a quick photo before they disappeared behind the stables. They appear from time to time but I mostly see them in the surrounding fields along with the beautiful heron on the nearby pond.

The Northern Lights are supposed to be visible from Northern England tonight and possibly over the weekend. I’ve missed them a few times but will be setting my clock and getting my camera ready just in case!
What an amazing 6 weeks it’s been! We’ve met so many new people staying at our B&B from all over the world! We’ve enjoyed hearing all the tales whilst walking the Hadrian’s Wall. Looking forward to meeting our new guests over the summer.
